FestConnect / FestCollect ("the App") is developed, owned, and operated by DgSignz ("we", "us", or "our", website: dgsignz.com). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of all committee administrators, treasurers, donors, and devotees who use our festival accounting and receipt generation services.

1. Information We Collect

To facilitate community event fundraising, digital receipt generation, and ledger transparency, the App collects the following information:

• User Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials when logging into the committee dashboard.
• Devotee & Donor Data: Name, mobile phone number, address/locality (optional), and donation amounts recorded by the festival committee treasurer to generate SMS/WhatsApp receipts and audit ledgers.
• Financial Records: Collection types, payment modes (Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer), expense vouchers, auction records, and opening/closing cash balances.
• Device & Bluetooth Permissions: Bluetooth connection permissions (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_SCAN) strictly used for communicating with ESC/POS 58mm/80mm wireless thermal receipt printers. We do not track or share your device's geographical location.

2. How We Use Collected Information

• To generate and issue printable and digital contribution receipts.
• To maintain real-time committee ledger summaries and financial statement reports.
• To authenticate authorized treasurers and committee admins.
• To deliver customer support and platform security notifications.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The App integrates reputable third-party infrastructure providers:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage): For cloud database persistence and secure access controls. ( Firebase Privacy Policy )
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): To display banner advertisements. AdMob may collect pseudonymous advertising identifiers (AAID) to serve relevant ads. ( Google Ads Privacy Policy )

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or devotee contact details with any third parties or marketing brokers. Devotee information recorded by a festival committee is strictly scoped to that committee's private ledger.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

We respect user rights regarding data ownership and deletion:

• In-App Account Deletion: Treasurers and users can permanently delete their user profile and revoke access at any time by navigating to Settings > Delete My Account inside the App.
• Data Removal Requests: You may also request complete purging of your committee records by contacting us at our support email.

6. Security

All data transmitted between the App and our backend is encrypted using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Stored database records are secured with strict Firebase Security Rules.
